We acknowledge local iwi of Waikato and South Auckland as the indigenous people of Aotearoa and mana whenua and mana moana of this region. We are seeking genuine and enduring partnerships with iwi as kaitiaki, co-governors, business owners and partners that will create intergenerational benefits and opportunities for Māori.

The partners in the joint venture share a vision for Waikato Offshore Wind to create positive legacies and economic opportunities for local communities. Developing this new sector will also stimulate new thinking in technology and innovation and kick-start industrial development, delivering new infrastructure and creating new local supply chains.
